Valerja Stojakovik
Born in 1968 in Skopje, Macedonia. In the 1992 she participated in the “Dom Kulture” VI Biennale in Belgrado, winning the experimental graphic award, engravings.
She finished the University of Fine Arts course in Cetinje (Montenegro), in 1995.
In the 1996 she participated in the collective exhibition at the Josip Benkovic Gallery – Hercegovacki Zimski Salon, winning the award for mixed tecnique painting.
In 1998-99 she works for the realization of The Cappella “Redemptoris Mater” Mosaic, inside the lodge of the Vatican Apostolic Palace.
From the 2000 she theaches painting at the Versoltre school art.
Her personal artistic path had a significant turn around in 1999, as it changed towards a spontaneous type of abstract art, deeply intuitive and very close to Zen art.
